Who are we?

We are a partnership between West Sussex County Council Youth Service and local District Councils.

What do we aim to do?

  • Provide young people, aged 13-25, with information, advice and support.
  • Offer young people social education - in other words, help you to make informed decisions adout all areas of your life e.g. work, relationships, health, finances.
  • Respect you and your point of view.
  • Treat your enquiry as confidential.
  • Be on your side. We do not talk to your parents, your teacher or anybody else in authority without your agreement to do so except in very special circumstances, which we would discuss with you.

The Staff

  • Are friendly and welcoming & easy to talk to.
  • Do not judge you in any way or make you feel embarrassed when dealing with personal issues.
  • Help you make positive choices without telling you what to do.
  • Are trained to a high standard
  • Will try and find someone who can help you if we are unable to or specialist help is needed.

Our Premises

  • Do not have receptionists.
  • Has décor designed by young people.
  • Offers easy to access leaflets and information.
  • Has a room for private matters.
